In my younger days when I worked for Jimmy Grbac I had the pleasure of watching his dad John race at New Egypt Speedway and sat many a race night with Pop Blewett while "Little John" was watching or running around the infield of the track with is sister and some other drivers kids. To see him grow and become the driver he was, just like his dad was amazing but to hear this kind of news makes my heart break. I feel for his family and wish them the best in this time but I will always remember him as that little kid running around watching the cars saying, someday, thats going to be me. He lived his dream from when he was a small child and in this day and age, thats a moment we can never forget. To the Blewett family, I feel for you in every sense of the word and I wish you well in this sad time. And to Jimmy, never stop racing, its not what your brother would have wanted no matter how sad this is, he lived his dreams be sure to remember him by living yours for him

Jimmy, Janice, Linda, My heart broke when I heard this awful news! Linda, only another mother can begin to imagine your pain. John was such a breath of fresh air and full of life. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Janice, you can always be proud of your big brother. Jimmy, my sweet Jimmy, I know how bad you must feel. This is not your fault! I remember your infectious smile when you were in my 3rd grade class! You have always been full of fun and life. You love what you do, and so did your brother. John would want you to keep doing what you love. Remember, on this side of Heaven, we rarely know why these things happen. Hold on tight to your faith and trust that John is with the Lord right now and racing down the streets of gold!
