Statement On The Passing Of John Blewett III From NASCAR

NASCAR released a statement this morning concerning the death of driver John Blewett III following an accident Thursday night at Thompson International Speedway in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour New England Dodge Dealers 150.

Late Thursday night, driver John Blewett III died at Hubbard Regional Hospital as a result of injuries suffered after an incident at Thompson (Conn.) International Speedway.

Our deepest sympathies and prayers go out to the Blewett family, their friends and the entire Modified community.
