Former well-known radio reporter Av Harris is shifting positions and is headed to work for Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz.
Harris has been working for State Treasurer Denise Nappier since January, and he is now moving to a new constitutional office that is also held by a Democrat. Harris will fill the open slot that had been vacated by Derek Slap, a former spokesman for New Haven Mayor John DeStefano who now runs the communications operation for the Senate Democrats.
A former regular on "Beyond The Headlines'' with Shelly Sindland, Harris worked for WNPR radio for four years before heading into the public sector. His last day with Nappier is Thursday, and he starts working for Bysiewicz on April 21.

Ummm... He left after three months? Am I missing something? Did Susan B. offer him big bucks or is Nappier just impossible to work for?
