In a major comeback, the UConn women's team defeated archrival Rutgers late Tuesday night to guarantee their first trip to the Final Four since they won the national championship in 2004.
It didn't look good at the beginning when Rutgers was leading by 14 points, but UConn ended up winning by 10 points. The victory was sealed in the final minute as Coach Geno Auriemma burst into a smile.
"They were destined, and they were due,'' Auriemma said of his team after the win.
It didn't happen at the Capitol, but a lot of Capitol Watchers were watching.

It is heartwarming to see a Fordham grad such as Mr. Keating embrace the Uconn Huskies.
