Dinosaur Jr. robbed

Influential alt-rock band Dinosaur Jr. was robbed Tuesday night, when gear was stolen from a trailer parked outside the band's hotel in Long Island City in New York. Despite the theft, the Amherst-area band is still scheduled to play tonight at Toad's Place in New Haven.

The original Dinosaur Jr. lineup — guitarist J Mascis, bassist Lou Barlow and drummer Murph —reunited last year for the first time since the early '90s.
