Here's further evidence that it's really only a matter of time until Bono is revered as a Christ-like holy figure: Episcopal churches across the country are celebrating U2-charists, with U2 songs replacing traditional hymns during liturgies, USA Today reports.
"Are we worshiping Bono? Absolutely not," says the Rev. Paige Blair, an Episcopal priest in Maine who held the first U2-charist in 2005. "No more so than we worship Martin Luther when we sing 'A Mighty Fortress Is Our God.'"
