Fuzzy Wuzzy Gets Second Chance

The results of Wednesday’s primetime voting contest are in. And it’s not the one you’re looking for.

Ross Jowell, a prematurely bald man from Forth Worth, Texas, won the first home vote on “The Great American Dream Vote” and as a result will receive his wish: for a full head of hair on “The Great American Dream Vote”

It was the most selfish of the initial rounds of dreams described by eight contestants in the show’s Tuesday premiere. He beat by only 30,000 votes the other finalist in the Tuesday show, Devon Smith, who wanted to open a sanctuary for elderly basset hounds (those dogs will now presumably die).

Back on “Queen for a Day,” Jack Bailey would hear sob stories, the audience would crown a winner with the applause winner and she’d go home with a washer (whether or not that’s what she asked for).

On this show, Jowell gets $25,000 in hair transplants, he’ll also a digital camera and flatscreen TV, a $10,000 designer wardrobe and a windsurfer, a skydiving trip, $20,000 in cash, new convertible and an all expenses paid trip to Vegas by private jet.  (Appaently, no washer though).

But joining Hair Club for Men is the best wish America could grant?

I don’t think Martin Luther King would have gotten far on this show.

Very interesting contribution. I must say well informed. Is that really so expensive?
