No Clap Clapper

One joy in watching late late television is catching all those weird commercials.

In addition to the glorified oven mit the Ove' Glove, there was a new one for a variant of The Clapper.

Instead of a Clapper that relies on actual clapping, The Clapper Plus now allows you also to turn devices on and off through an enclosed switch. A clapper without a clap, in other words. Sounds like the Clapper Minus.
