Charde Houston practiced Tuesday despite slightly injuring her right ankle in the final minutes of Sunday’s win. She left the Joyce

with a walking boot on her foot.
“I just tripped over one of those imaginary invisible lines while I was back-peddling,” she said. “But I’m OK. I have my handy-dandy ankle braces and we’re good to go.”
Maya Moore and Tina Charles took turns dunking after practices and both made many more than they missed.

Ciao from the Courant's sumptuous hotel suite near the Blogre Dame campus. The butler has just left my room; the strawberries were a little too ripe for my taste. The hotel manager should be here soon with a suitable explanation.

To me, one the best portions of the story was hearing her refer to her group of seven finalists as the "uppity-up."
Priceless.
